Television Mounting

The Done-Right Promise

If a repair or installation fails within 90 days because of my workmanship, I return and fix it at no additional cost. Parts and materials follow their manufacturer warranty.

Standalone TV mounting done right — straight, level, properly anchored, and with cables hidden where the wall allows.

Mounting a TV well is a small job with a large number of ways to go wrong. Stud location, bracket sizing, wall type, and cable routing all matter, and skipping any one of them shows up the moment you step back and look. I do this a lot. The TV goes up straight and level the first time, and the cables end up somewhere other than a tangle on your baseboards.

This is a standalone service: just the mount, done right. Most straightforward mounts take about an hour. If you want the full home theater treatment (surround sound, a receiver, a projector), that lives on the Home Theater page.

What I Handle

Drywall Mounts

Fixed, tilting, or full-motion mounts on drywall over studs. I locate the studs before I touch the wall, check that your mount actually fits the TV, and set it level the first time.

Masonry, Stone, Tile, and Brick

Block wall, stucco over block, stone, or tile. Common in older Phoenix homes and on covered patios. Masonry anchoring is a different job from drywall, so I quote these on inspection rather than guessing over the phone.

Fireplace Mounts

Over-the-fireplace mounts deserve a real conversation first. The two concerns are heat and sightlines. I will ask about your TV model and your fireplace before I commit, because "this is not a good spot for it" is worth more than a visit fee.

Wire Concealment

I run your cables in a clean, paintable raceway so there is no loose cord hanging down the wall. Want a fully hidden look instead? Ask me and I will tell you straight what your wall allows.

What It Costs

Flat-rate, quoted up front, so you know the number before I start. The $125 minimum service fee covers travel and the first hour on site.

  • Standard mount, up to 65", no wire concealment: $145
  • Mount with concealed wiring, up to 65": $239
  • Over fireplace, brick, or masonry: $275 to $349 (quoted on inspection)
  • Each additional TV on the same visit: from $90
  • Soundbar mount on the same visit: $75
  • TVs 75" and larger: priced per job. Call or text (480) 885-6292

You supply the TV and the mount (I can source the right mount if you would rather not shop; hardware is billed separately from labor). If there is no power outlet where the TV is going, a new one is licensed electrical work, so I will point you to the right person for that part and come back for the mount.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a TV mount cost?

A standard drywall mount up to 65" is $145, or $239 with concealed wiring. Over fireplace, brick, or masonry runs $275 to $349, quoted on inspection because the anchoring work is different. TVs 75" and larger are priced per job. The $125 minimum service fee applies to any standalone visit.

Can you mount over a fireplace?

Sometimes. Fireplace mounts need a heat-and-smoke conversation first: some TVs are rated for it, some are not, and some fireplaces run hotter than others. I will walk you through what is safe for your specific TV and wall before I book.

Can you hide the cables?

Yes. I run your cables in a clean, paintable raceway so there is no loose cord hanging down the wall. If you want a fully hidden look instead of a raceway, ask me and I will tell you straight what your wall and your power setup allow.

My wall is brick, block, or stucco. Can you still mount a TV?

Yes. Masonry mounts (block wall, stucco over block, brick, stone) use different anchors and take longer than drywall, so I quote them on inspection rather than giving a blind number over the phone. Phoenix homes hit this a lot, especially older ones and covered patios. Text a photo of the wall to (480) 885-6292 and I can usually give you a ballpark before booking.

Do I need to supply the mount?

Customer-supplied is preferred, but I can source the right model if you would rather not shop. Fixed, tilting, and full-motion mounts all fit different use cases; send me your TV model and I will confirm the right mount before you buy.

How quickly can you get out here?

It depends on what is already scheduled, but I try to respond within an hour and can often get out same-day or next-day for a straightforward mount. Call or text (480) 885-6292 and tell me what you have, and I will give you an honest window.

Can you set up my soundbar or streaming device too?

Yes, that is easy to add to the same visit. Soundbar mounting is $75 on the same trip, and streaming device setup (Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV) and remote configuration are quick add-ons. Mention it when you book so I can allow the time.

What areas do you service?

I am based in Stetson Valley and serve Phoenix, Peoria, Glendale, Sun City, Surprise, and the greater Phoenix Valley. Scottsdale is case-by-case. Call (480) 885-6292 with your zip code if you are not sure.
