Appliance Install

New appliances should not sit in their boxes waiting for an install crew that never shows up, so I do the replacement installs that big-box delivery teams decline.

Appliance Install

The Done-Right Promise

If a repair or installation fails within 90 days because of my workmanship, I return and fix it at no additional cost. Parts and materials follow their manufacturer warranty.

Electric appliance installs — dishwashers, washers and dryers, over-range microwaves, and reverse-osmosis systems.

New appliances should not sit in their boxes. Big-box stores deliver to the door, but their crews routinely decline the actual install, especially on replacements where disconnecting the old unit is involved. I fill that gap: I do the electric appliance installs where the supply lines, drain connection, and electrical hookup are already in place, so your new appliance is up and running the same day, not waiting on another appointment.

Phoenix Valley hard water is rough on appliances, which is one reason reverse-osmosis systems are popular here. If you are finally pulling the trigger on an under-sink RO, a dishwasher swap, or an electric washer and dryer hookup, that is exactly the kind of job I do. I disconnect and move the old unit aside, make the connections, test everything, and leave the space clean. Hauling and disposal of the old appliance is discussed case-by-case.

What I Install

Dishwashers

Supply line, drain, and electrical connections on existing hookups. I level the unit, test for leaks at every fitting, and verify the door seals and cycles correctly before I leave.

Washers & Dryers (Electric)

Electric washer and dryer hookup where the connections are already in place: supply hoses, drain line, dryer vent, and the 240V plug. No gas work, ever.

Over-Range Microwaves

Mounting, venting, and electrical hookup for a new over-range microwave on an existing circuit. Replaces a range hood or a previous microwave on the same cabinet and vent run.

Reverse-Osmosis Systems

Under-sink RO system install with a dedicated faucet, on existing supply and drain connections. Valley hard water makes these a smart investment; I get the install right so the filters actually last.

What It Costs

Prices below are firm for standard replacements on existing connections. The appliance is customer-supplied.

  • Garbage disposal: $175
  • Dishwasher: $165
  • Washer / dryer hookup (electric, hookups in place): $110
  • Reverse-osmosis under-sink system: $175 (2–3 hours)
  • Over-range microwave: $165
  • $125 minimum service fee applies to any standalone visit (covers travel and the first hour). Most replacement installs take 1–3 hours; $75/hr beyond the first hour if the job runs long.

I install electric appliances on existing connections only. New water lines, gas lines, or new electrical circuits go to a licensed contractor. I do not pull permits.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does appliance installation cost?

Most replacement installs are flat-rated: garbage disposal $175, dishwasher $165, over-range microwave $165, reverse-osmosis system $175, washer/dryer hookup (electric) $110. The $125 minimum service fee covers travel and the first hour; $75/hr beyond that if the job runs long. The appliance itself is customer-supplied.

Do you install gas appliances?

No. Electric appliances only. Gas line connections require a licensed plumber or gas fitter for code compliance and safety, and that is not work I do.

Do you run new water lines or electrical circuits?

I install on existing connections only. New water supply lines, new drain rough-in, gas line changes, or new electrical circuits all go to a licensed contractor. I will tell you when your job needs that step before any work begins.

Can you remove or haul away the old appliance?

I disconnect and move the old unit aside as part of the install. Full haul-away and disposal of the old appliance is not included by default, but I can discuss it case-by-case when you book.

Why are reverse-osmosis systems so popular in Phoenix?

Phoenix Valley water is notoriously hard, which shortens the life of anything the water touches and affects taste. An under-sink RO system gives you filtered water at the kitchen faucet without a whole-house softener. A clean install on existing connections (supply and drain) is exactly what I do, and it takes 2–3 hours.

How soon can you come out?

I try to respond within an hour and can often get out same-day or next-day for a straightforward appliance swap. Call or text (480) 885-6292 and tell me what you have and what the hookup situation looks like, and I will give you an honest window.

Do I need to supply the appliance?

Yes. The appliance is customer-supplied. I handle the install; you handle the purchase. If you want a recommendation on a specific model or brand before you buy, ask, and I will give you a straight answer.

What areas do you service?

I am based in Stetson Valley and serve Phoenix, Peoria, Glendale, Sun City, Surprise, and the greater Phoenix Valley. Scottsdale is case-by-case. Call (480) 885-6292 with your zip code if you are not sure.
